It was a beautiful day at the Botanical Gardens so Jodie thought it would be a good idea to have a seed scavenger hunt. Some seeds were big, some were small, all had different ways of spreading themselves.

So first we went to the train station, then we had to wait a long time for the train to come. Finally it came we had to be in groups on the train so we didn’t get lost. On the train I was in Katherine’s group with Abi, Jemima, Lucas,Me, Tom T, Krishna and Rani. It was a really bumpy ride and was very squishy, I could barely breathe. We got out of the train and walked there. then we met-up with Jodie and we went for a seed hunt, I found some really cool seeds. Then we went to have lunch then one by one in groups we went in the Children’s Gardens and went for a walk. My group were pretending to be lost in the woods, it was the best part. Then a lady came to bring us on a walk, it was beautiful. Then we went to the herb garden and we made these smelly bags of flower petals with lavender and these type of crunchy leaves that you can put under your pillow at night or put it in your clothes draw to make your clothes smell nice. then we went in this kind of water full part, it was so calming. Then we went back and packed our bags and we headed off to the train then we went back to school, we came back at about 3:25 at home time. Everyone was very tired of walking all day.

Botanical Gardens
First we got onto the train and went to Flinders street. I was in a group with Franky, James, Lara and all of 3\4ES and I was really happy about that. We got off the train and onto the tram at Flinders Street. After that we had lunch. I had the best lunch I ever had In my life. I had cupcakes donuts biscuits, apple croissant and yakult. A little while after that Jodie took us for a Science trip to go and look for seeds. We found lots of really cool seeds: spiky ones and soft ones. An hour after that we went into the Childrens Garden. It was probably the best bit at the Botanical gardens. My legs were hurting from all of the walking and running around all day!
