Maths Challenge – word problems

Hi 1-2 E,

It was great to observe that many of you recalled Division facts and strategies from last semester. For the next two weeks we will be working on Multiplication in Maths. Your skip counting practice will be very useful.

For those of you who are looking for some extra challenge in Maths (especially Grade 2), here is the link to worded problems at a Grade 3 level.

The problems require you to use addition, subtraction, multiplication or division. They are generated randomly so you will need to decide which operation to use…

This is an important part of developing your reasoning and logic skills. Good luck and let us know how you go! (Alternatively, this link will take you to some useful Multiplication practice
